CATCH learning isn’t limited to the school day. Students learn about healthy activities with their families as well. Family involvement increases the effectiveness of the program and reinforces what is learned in school.

In Grade 3, students are introduced to Hearty Heart as he and his band of intergalactic health heroes face off against Food Fat and get of Sittin Sam to get up and play. Families follow the story and learn to make healthy foods and enjoy healthy activities along the way.

In Grade 4 students and their families follow the adventures of 2 earth children who stowaway on Hearty Heart’s spaceship and learn even more about healthy living on planet Strongheart.

Fifth grade students and their families get to go on a Health Trek. With Health Trek…the Journey Continues families face the barriers to healthful living-together!
