Inside Sales Representative: Summer Intern
The Inside Sales Intern will work cooperatively with other inside sales, outside sales or FlagHouse team members to nurture and qualify leads resulting in new customer relationships, or growing existing customer relationships. The Inside Sales Intern must have excellent communication skills, and a desire to exceed call goals and lead qualification goals. FlagHouse will train on all product knowledge. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in moving into a Sales career, or for college students looking to get a start in sales with a great company that focuses on quality of life products. This position is located in our corporate office in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ in northern New Jersey. Sales Interns are paid hourly and receive business-related mileage for use of personal vehicle.
Learning Objectives:

Job Duties:
- Execute out-bound call campaigns to prospective customers, educating them on new product and service offerings

- Communicate accurate and thorough product information and promotional offerings to prospective clients regarding FlagHouse, our programs, and services
- Track customer-related phone conversations and emails in CRM system, including documenting sales opportunities according to defined sales processes
- Effectively use technology including CRM, Microsoft office and telephone technologies to perform job functions
- Actively collaborate as a team member to carry out the tasks of the department and the organization as a whole
- Escalate issues as appropriate to the Inside Sales Manager
- Demonstrate a customer service focus
- Build a working knowledge of products and services to be sold
- Practice solution selling techniques
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college, preferably with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Technology or Communications
- Desire to pursue a career in sales
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills through effective writing, speaking and listening
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

IT Help Desk Support Specialist
Job Summary
Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environment. Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. Provide one-on-one end-user training as needed. Assist the Network Systems Administrator. Troubleshoot network printer problems. Pass more complex end-user problems on to the Network Systems Administrator. Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting, and perform related work as required.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems. Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
- Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems, and mainframe, e-mail, Internet, dial-in, and local area network access problems.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, and redirect problems to appropriate resource.
- Administer help desk software, and log all help desk interactions.
- Deliver, tag, set-up, and assist in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Perform minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by 3rd-Party vendor maintenance agreements.
- Performs daily checks to verify system availability, including routine maintenance of copiers and printers.
- Print batch reports as needed.
- Maintain inventory of IT supplies.
- Review and update Help Desk documentation as assigned.
- Review and recommend modifications to Help Desk procedures.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- One year college level course work or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified Professional is a plus
- One year or more experience in providing end-user support for PC desktop and application software, or one year experience installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing PCs in a network environment is also a plus.

Marketing Interns
Get a head start! . . . Real life experience with the FlagHouse Marketing Department will help you get prepare for a career as a Marketing Professional. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated Marketing Team and help with getting many of our projects off the ground and running. We have several positions available for interns looking to gain college credits. All are located in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Travel stipend will be provided.
E-Commerce
Support product merchandising, advertising, reporting and social media initiatives for our growing number of web ventures. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and looking to work within a team environment. Previous work experience in an office setting preferred, but not required.
Marketing
Assist in all areas of catalog production including set up, developing catalog page layouts, and supporting managers and photographers during photoshoots. Will also help track and process page proofs. Some file organizing (electronic and paper) and proofreading. Requirements are basic knowledge of Microsoft office with strong Excel skills
CATCH - Coordinated Approach to Child Health
Serve as CATCH Team member by supporting sales and training efforts related to CATCH curriculum, equipment, and training components for schools, after-school, and early childhood nutrition and physical activity programs. Manage department communications, emails, newsletter subscribers and telephone inquiries. Assemble and mail department packages and information. Requires experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain Excel spreadsheets to capture sales lead and data.

Marketing/Brand Management
FlagHouse Brand Managers are responsible for developing the product lines that are the lifeblood of our company. The Brand Managers develop and introduce new products and fulfill marketing plans while keeping closely attuned to the needs and wishes of their clientele.
Sales
Our Sales Account Representatives create strong, ongoing ties with clients by working with them in person, meeting them at trade shows, and using whatever means are necessary to deliver the most appropriate solutions. Our Telephone Sales Representatives are responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and professional service, 100% of the time. Their goal is to give customers what they want. They ARE FlagHouse to the people who call us!
Customer Service/Satisfaction
Every FlagHouse employee is here to satisfy our customer. From the initial phone greeting, through processing mail and faxed orders, following up on drop-shipments, and promptly resolving customer problems that arise, we count on our Customer Service team.
Distribution
Our 118,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center at our Hasbrouck Heights headquarters houses our multi-million dollar inventory. The personal care exercised by our Distribution Center staff insures that orders are correct and packaged safely and efficiently. We use computerized scanning, and automated billing and shipping documentation to make our operation run smoothly.
Information Technology (IT) & Decision Support
Our IT team keeps us ready for current and future information management needs. They develop and support our business system, e-commerce, intranet, and our continually evolving Marketing applications.
Purchasing
Sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and controlling inventory insures that thousands of products are where they should be, when they should be. This is the challenge facing our Purchasing Team. Our Buyers, Design Engineers, and support group all help to build customer satisfaction.
